“ Beautiful restaurant with interesting history! Lovely dining space on the ground floor and museum on the second floor. The menu has many great options but oyster seem to be a special seasonal menus so I had some fried oysters with a pint of beer and some bbq chicken wings. The food was delicious and the 2 dishes was a perfect size for my lunch! ”
“ Love traveling across the USA and trying out the oldie style Taverns. This was definitely one of the best . It definitely felt like you were back in the 1700s. The food was simple, but very delicious. Like it should be. My go to is the clam chowder and it did not disappoint . Chicken pot pie was definitely the star if the dinner show! It is a very lively spot and even had live music. It seemed eveyone was having a blast there. ”
“ The place is absolutely beautiful — I can’t wait to go back! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Walking through the restaurant, you can really feel an atmosphere that transports you to the past, even though the design has a modern touch. We started with drinks at one of the bars (not sure which one, since there are several throughout the restaurant). The Presidential Punch was amazing! Then we had dinner near the bar area, where a beautiful show was playing. The host was kind enough to seat us close to the stage, which made the experience even better. For food, we had the chicken pot pie and the short rib pot pie—I chose the crust option, but you can also get it with mashed potatoes (which looked gorgeous when the lady next to us ordered it!). Overall, everything—from the food to the atmosphere and service—was wonderful. I can’t wait to return and explore a different area of this stunning place! ”

We ordered a traditional burger and pretzel, and both were excellent; hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Service was swift and friendly, which made the experience all the better. “ We shared a few pints here but didn't eat. Would like to go back for a meal. There are numerous rooms for dining. We primarily went for the museum. For $10 you can immerse yourself in Revolutionary War history. If you're a US History buff this place is for you! ”
